Well, this double album CD is an absolute gem. Mott the Hoople and their 5 night sell out reunion tour from 2009 (Live at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo).
This is what you call a reunion - not a bum track from the lads (first time they have appeared together for 35 years) - Ian Hunter, Mick Ralphs, Overend Watts, Verden Allen and Dale Griffin.
All the great tracks are here from Death May be Your Santa Claus to Saturday Gigs with the gems in the middle (All the Young Dudes, Honaloochie Boogie, All the way from Memphis and Roll Away The Stone to name a few). Would like to have heard Rose and Rest in Peace but with World Class bands you can't have everything - no fancy light show or poncy dancing - just let the music speak....

Aqua lung- Tull. The whole album, following it up with Joes Garage- Zappa, all the acts and all the scenes! " Hey she gave me V.D. Catholic girls with thier tiny little mustache" pure quality!

Mott the Hoople - Ian Hunter, Mick Ralphs, Overend Watts, Verden Allen and Dale Griffin. You ought to compare notes with Mr Baker.

One of my favourite live groups in my younger days and saw them loads of times at Plymouth's Van Dike Club and Guildhall, the Reading Festival, and various one day events. Is Ian Hunter still wearing those sunglasses? I don't think he ever took them off even to go to bed!! ;D

If you can grab a cd of the reunion then get it - it sounds like the best one for years.
