Time
19.30 If you are having the Carvery

Question & Answer Evening Chris Hargreaves Kevin Hill Frank O’Farrell Robin Stubbs Kenny Allen Wednesday 13 May 2009
Great work Lou! Put me down for a ticket and please PM me details of where to send the cheque. At the last TUST open meeting I suggested it would be a good idea for TUST to put on a sort of "Alternative Sportsmen's Dinner". The ones put on by the club sort of tempted me, but to be honest I don't like all that "black tie" nonsense and of course the price was enough to put off a lot of fans. I felt the evenings were really pitched at the business community rather than at TUFC fans. I liked the idea of some good but not over-fancy food, a few TUFC legends and some football chat with no formal dress code. Thinking this is one thing, doing it is another. Well done to Lou for sorting all this out and I really hope that she gets the response that her hard work deserves. And has she got some legends or what? FIVE absolutely first class TUFC heroes. It should be a great night!

Has anyone else other than me, Barton and tufc01 signed up for this yet?
I really hope this is a roaring success as I'd love to see this kind of thing repeated.
Lou, will you be around after the Burton game to collect any money? Can I point people in your direction if I can twist any arms?

I will be taking my PA system out of storage early next week Jon and giving it a good test( it worked fine when I packed it all away, but then so did those bloody Xmas lights ) all should be OK and I will be there for the whole night and looking forward to another great Nina carvery.

Thank you Jon & Dave, yes I will be around after the Burton game, around the area between the family stand and the old grandstand, if any one would like me to meet there for tickets or anywhere else B&L, Gulls Nest etc, please PM me so that we can arrange where and when. I will also be selling 50/50 tickets before the match in my usual spot between the family stand and old grandstand so can be found there if anyone should want to buy a ticket. So all of you who have not bought tickets yet come and get them and support this great Night of Legends (SEE TUST BOARD on this site FOR FULL DETAILS OR LINK TO TUST WEBSITE) and help raise a lot of money for Toddys charity Leukaemia Research and our TUST junior group who we have been doing lots with this season, including Christmas Party, regular Q & A sessions with various TUFC players, Junior TUST Members Player of Month where they award the winning player with a medal & a certificate, a visit to the training ground at Newton Abbot to watch part of a training session and they participared in a shooting sesson and practiced some dribbling skills! Thanks Louise TUST Junior Liaison Officer

I can probably do even better than that now, because I think Lou is actually going to give me some tickets to sell. So if you see me at the Histon game, I can take cash or cheques. If you don't know me, look for a cross between Victor Meldrew and Charlie Fairhead from Casualty - I'll be standing next to him.

There are now only a dozen tickets left for the carvery at the above event so if you would like one of the last few remaining tickets for what promises to be a great night please PM me or contact me at the details above.
You will probably know by now but at the Night of Legends we are now presenting The Supporters Player of the Season Award and also the Players Player award

I think Lou has still got a few tickets left - so get in there quick and snap them up.
I'm pleased to say that I experienced no hassle whatsoever in obtaining my ticket for this paricular Torquay United event - and the other good thing is that it doesn't give me a 50% chance of ending up utterly depressed.

I am looking forward to tonight. It will be good to meet up with Torquay Legends and hopefully fellow forum members as well. All tickets for the Cavery AND the Q& A have sold out, but I think (correct me if I`m wrong) there are a few tickets left just for the Q & A and the Player of the Year awards. So if you do want to go to the Awards Evening and the Q & A then contact Louise Shaw through the TUST website - www.torquaysupporters.com -
