And just to underline that Dave Thomas has just said that Thomson has been disappointing in the first half.

Goal threat? - Benyon is the top scorer ! From open play yes, but Nicky Wroe is now our top scorer.

All level at the end of the first half with our team having to play against a strong wind. It sounded like we had the better of the first 15 minutes without really creating much in front of goal.
Shrewsbury has had a more chances to score but have failed to take any of them. Not to sure myself about playing Thomson upfront behind Sills and would not be surprised to see Bucks put Thomson back on the wing and take Stevens or Carlisle off and bring on Benyon to partner Sills.
Lets hope we can take advantage of playing with the wind in the second half, but we can’t complain being level at half time with a team who are at home and in seventh place in the league.

Not doom and gloom but we seem to under alot of pressure. Thomson does not appear to be in the game judging by the commentary and is far more of a threat on the wing. Benyon clearly has the ability to run the legs off Coughlan so lets hope Buckle gets him on in the second half before we go 1 down. Still 0-0 is satisfactory at hal time. Elliott would have the legs on Coughlan......mind you so would his Mum. 0-0 after having played pretty well at times and playing into the wind is probably a bit better than satifactory.....0-0 at the end would be a good result. But you would probably not agree...

And just to underline that Dave Thomas has just said that Thomson has been disappointing in the first half. Wheras Elliott would probably have had a hat'trick by now! Bloody Buckle's clueless...

I'm so wasted just driving a van ;D as we start the second half with Benyon on and Thomson out on the wing and Stevens having to give way to accommodate the changes.

No I probably wouldn't actually agree that 0-0 is a great result. We have the wind behind us so hopefully we can go on to win. I am still of the opinion that there are no great teams in this league.

Charnock off red carded for going into a tackle with his studs showing, going to make hard getting the win now, so getting draw must surely be a good result if we can get it.
Ellis is coming on and Thomson off, so at least we have got the defense stronger again.

Charnock sees red..........a week late.
Ellis on for Thomson.
0-0 would be a bloody good result now.
