Swings and roundabouts si, these decisions tend to even up over time. Hard work was done before that cock up.

Agar was clearly stumped, but not given out when he was on 6! Trott middled his, and was adjudged LBW '1st ball' ! The Broad edge goes unnoticed -lucky boy! Poor decisions but we are still 2 - 1 down on that count. England 1/3 Aussies 11/4 Draw 12/1 I'm struggling to see value anywhere.

What a day, what a match! I think for pure entertainment value, this match exceeds the considerable hype beforehand! Maybe another twist tomorrow, God knows what Agar will do. First of ten games this year, looking good.....

Any chance of being able to log on here and read about football? You know a proper mans game!. We had Rob banging on about tennis and even David Cameron completely lost the plot by suggesting a knighthood for somebody who has won a tennis game. Crazy! Now we have the Ashes and although I will avidly follow it as a sportsman I log on here to read about Torquay United AFC. Strange game cricket anyway. I remember trying to get my head around it in the 1960's. One team scores 511 and the other team scores 198. Result .... a draw! Bloody crazy. So anyway .... don't do it again!

Sorry Stefano but I love it too.
Just back from the beach and tonight is probably the one and only time i'd rather watch the channel 5 Highlights than listen to Bob Willis and co.
Get in ...

Just seen the last wicket fall on TV. Was it an Anti-climax or the final episode of a moist Kerry Packer dream?
Lovin it, Bring on Lords...
