Perhaps for Operation Sting Ring (III) we could get a few more folk? ...........What a splendid idea, my dear Lord_Tanktop! - I think that plan would work perfectly, it only really needs one person to do a block booking up at the relevant Indy with numbers/date/time and then each car-load sort of has an organiser as well sort of thing to get each lot down there in time etc........... ...........Operation Sting Ring III, I may suggest possibly, deffo after Xmas now - maybe sometime in Feb/Mch/Apl next year, see how the fixtures pan out apres-Xmas hols etc - I think there may be one or two also interested from other TUFC forums as well - this would of course be heartily encouraged - a bit of cross-forum pollination all in the name of the mighty Vindaloo! - Ideal! - sure a few people will put their names up here and relevant thread can be organised on other TUFC site as well - all easy-peasy! - Nige and me will be well happy to employ the same principles as last time pick-up wise for the Shiphay/Chelston/Willows contingent again, if it all plans out ok, natch................

............Churchill, some of the good curry-fan folk on here have expressed a desire to possibly venture north of the 'Kerswell Arch for a future Asian food extravaganza-feast - tell us, you are a well-respected food critic, fellow Pomps & Spinnys (!!!!) fan and you've read the menu for The Eastern Eye, Newton Abbot, what do you think, hound-friend - is it a done deal?................. ..........."Oh, yesh, yesh, yesh, yesh, yesh"......... .......well, I think thats' sorted then gang!.........

A very enjoyable evening following a very enjoyable afternoon.
Thanks to Mr_W for organising with military precision and to Nige for driving.
I'm not sure taking Chelston North of Kerswell is a good idea though - he might get disorientated.

..........."follow me everyone - I'm sure the NA on the map stands for Northern Arctic - the Curry House is just on the top of this hill I reckon - Pomps and Spinneys await us methinks - yum, yum - last one up there gets the Cobra in"...........(By Ed - Mr_Chelstongulls' map-reading and compass skills fail drastically as he gets his Newton Abbots and Arctic Wastelands a tadge confused)

I was thinking about becoming a TFF Curry club member, but not so sure now after tasting my fist Indian curry in Swansea last Sunday evening.
I do like a good homemade curry, but I'm know as a very finicky eater who sticks many to good old basic English cooked food. But even then there are so many things I do not like eating and anyone trying to feed me find it a very difficult task indeed.
So after that Mecca bingo experience Lyn and her mum wanted a curry and of we went to find one. After looking at the menu and not knowing what anything really was or would taste like, I settled for a sirloin steak.
Sorry sir we sold out last night I was told and so I had to put my trust in Lyn to pick something for me. She ordered my a chicken rogan and I only ate it as Lyn's mum had paid for it.
So before I join I might need some help to find a curry I might enjoy and one that won't see me sat in that little room all night ;D

I would avoid that Indian's fist. Try to go for something mild, fresh and perhaps yoghurt-based. Chelstongull will no doubt see you through with his knowledge of the subcontinent's finish cuisine.

......"Ok, follow me everyone, I'm fairly sure that the Ruby Murray house is just a few miles on down this path, last one in the door has to listen to the collection of the ENTIRE Gong and Focus back catalogue of albums I'm pulling on this 'ere sleigh - Prog on gang, Prog on"........... (Mr_Chelstongull takes charge, having led his boys valiantly from the front to North of the 'Kerswell Arch and drives the team on for the last push for the mythical Newton Ruby)
