link - I see a very well put together commercial brochure is now out for the women’s team. Mainly structured for local businesses but match ball sponsorship is £50 and quite good value for what you get from the package. Like any football club the women have costs which need to be met and with a relatively small support base this is a big step in widening this. Previously there have been costs involved for the women just to play for the club so with more support it will be easier to get players in and hopefully better results. Having watched the women a few times their enthusiasm and commitment is first class and hopefully they will get the support they deserve.

Fifth tier - one below Buckland Athletic. Buckland Reserves and Shaldon Villa tier 7. Plainmoor Ladies tier 8. |

Very well answered by Jon and it is called the South West Regional Woman’s Football League Premier Division which is a bit of a mouthful!

So the women relatively speaking share the same level in the pyramid as the men's team, tier five. |

link -TUWFC are featured at the beginning of the yellow army podcast this week. They are back training in their bubbles and in a non contact way as they improve their fitness and technical ability, Delighted to hear they had 22 training last week as not only more competition for places but at times they were at a disadvantage with limited substitutes last season and they seem to be used in a more laissez faire manner than in the men’s game. Economically we are in difficult times but they are looking for sponsorship to enable sufficient funding of the team to take place - link

link - now midfielder Freya Jackson has re-signed. Just starting to get the feeling that the women have more strength in depth this year and will be more competitive.

link - Sam Tyler has re-signed for the squad, another late arrival last season that bolstered the squad. Up to nine in the team that I am aware of now.

link - as if by magic, pre- season fixture list has been announced for TUWFC for the month of August beginning next Sunday against a Plymouth development side. Expect the Men’s team will be announcing their fixtures soon - just a pity we cannot go and watch these games.....
