America has banned shit loads of people from shit loads of countries from going there, and what do we do...nothing! Nonsense, we are all singing happy birthday as we wash our hands! now we let all and sundry come in to sneeze on us and put us in an early grave! In a global economy was always going to happen, just need to slow things down to make it a bit more manageable. Not all bad news, saw that a 103 year old in China managed to recover from this virus. Having an underlying condition seems to be the issue, hope you haven’t got one reg, still, living in the middle of nowhere means self isolation should be quite achievable! |

link most of Gary’s press call was about the Coronavirus today so nice to see that he has joined in this thread. I suppose the latest directive from government is the week of self isolation if anyone goes down with a cough or has a high temperature and the short term impact of players missing games.

No underlying physical condition that I know of, but as I mentioned in another thread, I've been working in the attic for a while (no the Mother in Law is not really up there) stripping out the fibre stuff, most of which has been there for thirty years. I'm wearing the normal mask which goes over the mouth and nose, and a full face mask on top of that, so no bloody virus is getting me, and as you say I do live in a remote place fortunately. |

Indeed I was one of the proponents for gaining some sort of control over the marauding hordes from Europe, but it doesn't seem to have happened does it? Every man and his dog still wander into this country without any checks...not even for a bloody virus that could wipe out half the planet! Now of course the Brexit talks (or whatever they're called now) have been put on hold indefinitely. What worries me is that a lot of the TFF members will have died before the bloody thing has been sorted! Then when the country becomes a world trader again, I won't be able to gloat and say I told you so!  |

All the top clubs are now suspending matches for three weeks...Premier down to league two...no sign of us lot doing the same yet. Non professionals are like the elderly...the sooner they disappear, the happier some people will be it seems! |

Non professionals are like the elderly...the sooner they disappear, the happier some people will be it seems! National league are currently meeting. Problem with this suspension is virus may be peaking in June so will the football season be null and void? |

Boris has got it all in hand...no need to do anything! Some cyclic woman (Sylvia Somebody) predicted all this years ago, even naming this year. She said it would eventually die down and then return again in ten years...time will tell on that one. She didn't actually mention how many would die though...which would have been helpful. |

On the plus side, been in 2 supermarkets this morning and there was an abundance of toilets rolls available, probably as everyone have now finished building their bog roll forts and realise there isn’t any room left for another one! People do seem to be stocking up on food though.....
