Some fans seem to feel this game is a game we can win and get the much needed three points that will move us a bit closer to safety, but all games are tough for any struggling side at the wrong end of the table and once again a single point with results elsewhere going our way, may not be a bad result in the end.
But we can’t just rely on other teams not picking up points and we need to start finding a win or two and our failure seems to be we can’t score goals and its goals that win games. Even when we have taken the lead in games we have then felt we had done enough and sat back and invited pressure that always leads to the other team scoring goals that result in us dropping points we really can’t afford to drop.
Its only when we have been behind and having to chase the game have we seem the real fighting sprite that really needs to be shown from the first whistle to the very last one and that is something Buckle must get into the players.
No point putting down what team should play as it picks itself at this time due to the lack of numbers and all I ask is that Bucks picks the team he thinks will give us the best chance of winning the game even if that means he has to play any player who may be out of favour for whatever reason.
There is no room for personalities to stand in the way of having the team out on the pitch that can win this game for us, its all about Torquay United League Two Football club and nothing else matters and anything else can be put on the back burner until we are safe from the drop.

This game gives me the same feeling I got back in season 2005/2006 "The Great Escape".
this one, was away at Gay Meadow and Paul "the hod carrier" Robinson got a late goal mto secure a vital 0-1 away win.
We have a good record against Shrewsbury at home win 2-1 being a common score. They are on an awful run which hopefully will be in our favour.

A few weeks days hours minutes ago I wouldn't fancy our chances - I do now. A rub of the green, a good ref, a good Popside lino and the putting away of the odd chance = 3 points.

Can Shrewsbury lose FIVE on the trot without scoring . I doubt it very much this is a worse scenario as far as I concerned a top half side on a poor run. But then again we cant win with best case scenarios so who knows ? Hope I am completely and utterly wrong and we win 4 -0!!

A 9pm kick off for me and i will be glued to the commo thanks to our yahoo cyber terrace. Desperate for points, we've been here before and blown it each time. Our luck has to change sometime. So a flukey last minute winner from a Bevan punt upfield, bobbling off a divot aussie forgot at half time will do me fine.

This is gonna be too close to call. Hopefully we can just steal a flukey goal, but they gonna want to change their losing streak so its going to be very close. God help my nails at Plainmoor Saturday.

Oz, it's the one to the left of the pen spot. leave it, it's not cheating anymore than handing towells to ballboys or not putting soap in the changing rooms. We're counting on you!

I do the best job I can for the club and try my hardest to make the pitch as good as I possibly can for the players to play on, my primary concern is sorting out lumps and divots so NO players get injuries through the playing surface, I`m quite proud of what I do for our club and I am happy to do it for free!

Oh you bugger! How do i know what end? You're the one in the know when it comes to bounce diversion. calculate the sun angle, anticipate the keeper and triangulate his movement. Oz ffs you're the expert! Do it at both ends, however a last minute guess would be the family stand!! Doh, bloody australians always upside down!

I suppose it would depend on who won the toss mate and whether they chose to kick towards the cow shed or the family stand!
